Since 1951 we have been renowned for all the good things you would expect in a country club in the form of classic hospitality that has and never will go out of style. Cool beverages, great food, venue hire, pool tables, darts as well as TAB & Keno, Fox Sport, Sky/Austar for sports fans and an outdoor BBQ space and of course the best lawn and barefoot bowling around.
Our 4,000 plus members, 100 bowling members and the many other locals and visitors who come through our doors every year love our beautiful bistro, 2 synthetic bowling greens and our connection to our community which makes Club Gunnedah the place to be for good food, good company and great times.
History
Club Gunnedah was born in 1943, in a small cottage in Elgin St, and was then known as the Gunnedah & District Servicemen’s Club. In 1951 the Club moved to the Goodwin Chambers in Conadilly St. In 1990 the Club changed its name to Gunnedah Services Club and then amalgamated with the Gunnedah Men’s Bowling Club in 1997 to become the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club.
Over the years, Club Gunnedah has had multiple facelifts and refurbishments, before becoming the modern, welcoming and very comfortable place that we know and love today.

Our reputation as a welcoming and friendly venue with great food, beverages, and entertainment as well as bookable venue and function spaces, means Club Gunnedah has long been renowned as the place to go for a great night out, event or casual catch up with family and friends.
